Does anyone know of a "banner" program, for printing out text strings in BIG letters? A pointer to archives would be great. Thanks, Mike Rose mbr@lanl.gov

Just use your favorite word processing, drawing or page layout program, specify a BIG font size, and print in landscape (horizontal) mode. Gazette Library, Fonts 1, public domain software disk has the program Banner that does this on an imagewriter. For better appearance us Silicon Press on a Laser. Do the banner in the largest laser font and then enlarge under LaserWriter Page Setup up to 800%. It comes out looking great.
