I went to an auction and bought more IBM 5175 monitors than I need. 640 X 480 Analog RGB 13 inch diagonal anti-gare CRT IBM logo (easily covered if you wish) 0.31 mm dot pitch Here is what you get in the kit.... 1) A new IBM 5175 with power cord and video cable. 2) A 15 pin connector to fit the MAC II video card. 3) Procedure for changing the connector (soldering required) 4) Procedure for adjusting the monitor (you will have to remove the cover and tweak two, clearly marked, trimmers. Caveats... See Mac User Oct 88 monitor review. The "Classic professional graphics monitor described there is the same as this one. I have not noticed the "green tinge" reported in the article. I have noticed a slight "hashing" of the image during disk access (only). Not everyone I've shown the monitor to notices this though. If you have trouble with the conversion I'll help over the phone. If you get a dead monitor (the shipping people aren't always as carefull as they should be) I'll send you another. I'm only available in the evenings EST and sometimes we go out so I may not be able to respond immediately to help requests.
