First off, my apologies for posting to comp.sys.mac, but for some reason my system denied me permission to post to comp.sys.mac.hypercard. I spent about an hour playing around with the Retrospect stack that Chuq recently posted, since some of the things the stack does (Retrospect, too, for that matter) look interesting. I think I've got most of it figured out, but I'm missing one critical link. When opening some of the cards in part one, HC will drag a title from one area of the card to another, and then highlight it, and then put a shaded box behind it. I think I understand the scripts that make that happen (the scripts for the "mv" and "mf" messages), but I cannot see how those messages are ever sent initially. I expected to find an "openCard" handler or some such thing, but I haven't had any luck. Has anyone else dissected this stack, and if so, do you have any pointers?
