A fellow MAC user will be travelling to the island of Bonair (sp?), the island is located off the coast of Venezuala. He is planning on the purchase of an SE (or SE30), but is unsure of the ability of MACs in general, and printers (eg. LaserWriter/ImageWriter) to handle their bizarre standards. According to travel agent information, the island utilized 127 Volt/50 Hz power. I know that MACs are in use in many places on this planet, but I am wondering if anyone has any experience in step-down/step-up transformers for power like this. No need to post to the NET as the island would never be able to handle all of us (much less our MACs). Please E-mail me and clue me in if possible. Regards... Scott Thompson
