I am hoping that it will be easy to take the locking mechanism from the Caps Lock key and install it on the Ctrl key, and then install an init to exchange the mapping for the two keys. Anyone ever done that? Am I dreaming? You can exchange them on PC-Xenix and DOS. --dave yost

The re-mapping was accomplished by cutting a couple of copper traces on the keyboard's circuit board and soldering on a couple of wires. Very easy if you can keep from going cross-eyed following the traces. No messy software to deal with, either.
