Claris has been sending out upgrade notices to registered users of MacWrite 5.0
for some time now, so if you haven't received one in the next few days, I would
give them a call (I don't have their 800 number handy, but I am sure someone
has it).
Apparently when the university registed their copies of MacWrite 5.0 in the
fall, they put my name and address on several of them, because I have received
numerous copies of the upgrade form...

p.s. Because of severe computer burn-out, I will be heading to the middle of
nowhere (I call it home) for about 3 weeks, starting at the end of this
week. So if you send me any messages and you don't get quick replies,
don't be suprised.
At least the main reason behind my burn-out is not the Macintosh --
I spent the last 15 weeks programming in dBase III+ on an IBM PS/2
Model 50Z. Before I just didn't like the operating system. Now I don't
even like the quality of their machines. We had more problems with them
(and never buy an IBM Proprinter XL24 if you are going to use smooth-
perforation paper).
Now about the only thing I can do with a computer is play golf on
my Mac...
