I just got a DataDesk Mac-101 extended keyboard to use on my Mac+. Is there any way that I can use the function keys as I would use the function keys on a Mac-SE extended keyboard (other than manually using the macro program to set up equivalent macros for each program? What I want is to be able to press the F5 key, say, and then have an application think that F5 was pressed on an extended keyboard. Also, how can I get Key Caps to show the new keyboard map? (to show both command keys, the larger shift key, etc.) I think both could be solved by some modification of the Keyboard file in my system folder, but what modifications are needed? Thanks for any help, Scott sclindhu@phoenix.princeton.EDU sclindhu@pucc (Bitnet)

Yes. There is an INIT that comes with the Datadesk keyboard that sets things up properly. It should be on the disk that came with the keyboard...
