Hey, I gotta sort of a technical question here, and I was wonderin' if y'all could help...so here goes.... We have a 40-Mac PhoneNet network which works quite nicely. Every so often, we run checks to make sure we ain't getting any overrun errors or the like, but it's hard for us to pin down where the errors are occurring because we don't know which machine is sending the packets. You see, th users, being the creative people that they are, change them from their more identifiable names. Now, I tried locking the box so that it can't be edited, but some of our more creative users can just as easily unlock it. It would seem that I need to delve into the code of the Chooser to prevent this from happening. This is my problem. I'm not sufficiently knowledgable enough to even where to begin looking. Help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
