I have a question on Word's "Custom Page Size" option. When I specify a custom page size, the "Computer Paper" selection is changed in the Page Setup dialog. If I want two custom page sizes, I can see no way to have both permanently set in the Page Setup dialog. But, when I was looking at Words sample documents, I noticed that the label files it provided has another of the standard page sizes redefined, giving the option of being able to select from one of two different custom page sizes. How has this been done? I can find no way to set more than one custom page size in the page setup dialog. Each time I define a new one, it replaces whatever is currently defined in the normal "Computer Paper" selection. Are these label files special in some way? What gives? The way Word has dropped the page size option is very disappointing. It was something I made use of myself, as well as several other people on campus. There's one user who prints on at least two different custom page sizes, and as it is now, each time he switches from one page size to another, he has to reset the custom page size in Preferences. This is a *real* pain. I understand that the reason for removing the feature as it was implemented in version 3 was to conform with standard printer dialogs. I can't see why they couldn't conform and still have page size feature as well. Other packages do, for example PageMaker. I really hope this is something they'll reconsider. -- Peter Steele, Microcomputer Applications Analyst Acadia University, Wolfville, NS, Canada B0P1X0 (902)542-2201x121 UUCP: {uunet|watmath|utai|garfield}!dalcs!aucs!Peter BITNET: Peter@Acadia Internet: Peter%Acadia.BITNET@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU
