Is there anyway to get more accurate timing information than the 1/60th of a second granularity that the toolbox routine getticks provides? I'm trying to do some performance evaluation and this is just not accurate enough. (Please don't tell me to run my experiment 10,000 times--I'd rather not grow old waiting for results.) I would be willing to purchase hardware counters if someone made a board that had them. System Config.: MAC II with an Apple Color monitor.
