I have a Mac SE with an (Apple) internal 20Mb hard disk drive. It has become painfully apparent that 20Mb is not nearly enough storage space for me any more, so I looking into getting a 45Mb or larger internal disk drive. Problem: I don't want to pay full price for a brand new hard disk AND LOSE all the value of my (perfectly functional) 20Mb hard disk. 1) Does Apple (or any other company) support any kind of "hard disk upgrade"? 2) Is there any market whatsoever for used Apple internal hard drives of only 20Mb? 3) If I upgrade to a SE/30, what happens to the 20Mb drive? Do they stick it in the SE/30, or will they let me upgrade then to one of the drives that they market with the SE/30 (Quantum 40Mb and 80Mb drives, I believe)? 4) Should I just go ahead and buy an EXTERNAL drive to complement my internal drive (and lose some portability)? If your responses are of in informational nature, please post, otherwise (if they are opinions) please e-mail. Thanks! Jay Boisseau
