I was using Word in its Page View mode tonight and found two interesting
items (problems):
1. Select a line of text by going to the left margin, until the cursor
turns into a back-arrow, then drag the cursor off the top of the
window--to continue the selection up, off the screen. Note the
scroll speed, which is reasonable.
Now, do the same thing, except go down. Note the scroll speed, which
is SLOW. Can this speed be fixed?
2. My mother had typed in a document with a lot of tabs. I changed the
document, turning the page sideways, and creating two columns. Now,
text disappears being pushed "off the column" by the tabs. Delete
the tab, and the text comes back. It is a tricky situation to handle
correctly, but...
