OK, here is my dilemma. I have an SE HD20 w/1 MB of memory. Very vanilla. Someday, I will want to run System 7.0. So I will need at least 2 MB of memory. Someday, I will want to use System 7.0's virtual memory capability. So I will need a 68020 or 68030 CPU. And since 8 MB of virtual memory means 8 MB gone from my disk, I will need another or a larger disk. Do I separately buy 2 x 1 MB of RAM, then an SE => SE/30 upgrade kit (plus 4 x 256 KB of RAM or another 2 x 1 MB of RAM), then another disk (or a replacement internal disk)? Or do I sell my SE HD20 w/1 MB of memory while there is still a market for such things and buy a new SE/30 HD40 w/ 2 MB of memory? In case it alters your advice, I get an academic price on upgrades or a new SE/30. Advice for me (and the others I expect are facing the same question or will soon be)? John
