We are in the process of setting up a MAC network that will be used to distribute applications software for student use in completing assignments. The server is going to be a MAC SE/30. The problem is that we need to choose a disk (aprox. 150Mb) and we would like to know the relative merits among those produced by Jasmine, Rodime, CDC or whatever. We want something fast and dependable. Some of the models that have been proposed so far include: ProStation (172Mb HD + 40Mb Tape) Rodime Cobra (215Mb) CDC 94-161-182N (155Mb) Rodime ??? (140Mb) Specifically, we'd like to hear about possible difficulties experienced with any of the above models and products that would be recommended instead. Thanks.
