Hello,
Seems that I have run across an oddball of a disk drive.
It's a Tulin 60 meg. A minscribe st506, an adaptec 4000a, and a power
supply. It losses data, locks up and plays sit and spin, and never seems to
be able to hold onto excel's icon. Also, when using it, MS Word refuses
to start up, system error id-2. Configuration SE 1 meg, or a plus, system
tools 6.02 or 6.03 no cdevs, no frills. I am not sure what sort of
help I am looking for. Simple advice other than, "toss the sucker" would
be nice. Also a curiosity question. When the drive is accessing the top
left corner three pixels of my screen, the ones outside the rounded edge
of the menubar, blink. Why?? Weird. If you can mail directly so I don't
have to scan the entirety of 1027 unread articles it would be
appreciated.
