[comp.sys.mac] MacII needs 68851?

bmacintyre@watcgl.waterloo.edu (Blair MacIntyre) (05/17/89)

A friend of mine told me that the MacII has a socket for a 68851
that needs to be filled to run Apple Unix ( whatever it's called! :-)

If anyone needs one, make me an offer ... I have one sitting around
doing less than nothing! I'll even toss in a tech manual for it
if your heart so desires!

It's a 16MHz part and is less than 6 months old - never been used,
or even taken out of the static proof box!
