Hello all,
I have an AppleCD SC unit and just love the CD Remote DA they include.
The Mac version of the DA allows you to open a window showing the play order of
the tracks. It also allows you to enter NAMES for the CD as well as each
track. It is remembered and if the CD is mounted again, what you entered is
remembered.
I would like to see 2 additions to 'make life easier'. The first is
a trivial change. I would like the CD track numbers displayed in the window
showing the names. The default names are 'Track 1' thru 'Track n' but if
you change them on a CD with alot of tracks, the numbering is lost and it
is hard to find a track corresponding to the name entered. Second, I think
that dbl-clicking a track in the name window should move to that track and
start PLAY of that track.
While I am on the subject....If you 'mount' an audio-only CD, it actually
shows up on the desktop. Opening the disk shows music icons and the song
names underneath (Like filenames!). I think dbl-clicking these icons should
start that song playing......
I think the unit itself is fantastic....
