[comp.sys.mac] ApplicationMenu 3.4 and OnCue 1.3 problems

t-deeps@microsoft.UUCP (Deepak Seth) (05/19/89)

I just downloaded ApplicationMenu 3.4 from Sumex and I have run into the
following problem:

I am using System 6.02 on a MacPlus with 2.5M Ram. I have OnCue 1.3 Installed
When I installed ApplicationMenu 3.4 I could not click on the "Rocket"
(OnCue's icon) in the top righthand corner and launch any applications.
The menu does not activate. I used Aask to de-install ApplicationsMenu and
then it works just fine. Note: In OnCue my Preferences selections were the
following:
1. Drop Menu by Clicking Anywhere While Pressing: Command
In ApplicationMenu (in the Control Panel) the modifier key I choose to
bring up the menu of Applications was Caps Lock (I tried SHIFT, OPTION,
COMMAND and all combinations (8 I think!).
What is going on? I guess, since both ApplicationMenu and OnCue bring up
a list of Applications with modifier keys something is preventing OnCue's
menu from activating when ApplicationMenu is installed.
Anyone there on the net who has had this problem? Is the author of
ApplicationMenu listening? For that matter is ANYONE listening? :-):-)
I would appreciate an answer via e-mail. My e-mail address is below:

Thanks
