Please excuse me in advance for my ignorance, for I am a MAC-novice. A friend of mine is considering buying a MACIIcx through her campus bookstore. The system consists of the following: MACIIcx HD40 (M5610) Extended keyboard Apple Hi-Res color RGB monitor Mac II 8 bit video card MS Works Mac Bible S*T*A*X (what on earth is that?) Hypercard 1 box Sony 2D2S 3.5s PRICE: $4,718 Can anyone (I know ALL of you CAN :-) ) tell me if this is a G-R-E-A-T price? Furthermore, what would the same system cost me (a non student entity) through regular Apple distributors? Please e-mail responses. Thanks a bunch. Omar
