relationship with my IIcx. I purchased a Magnavox monitor for the mac II (color, 14") and discovered that the color is messed up. Green maps to red and vise versa (blue is ok). Apparently the lines are reversed. Anyway, I am completely dependent on my computer and can not send my monitor to Magnavox (aka Phillips America..) for 2 - 4-6 weeks. Well, I spoke with the customer service people about it and they said their policy is not to provide loaners. I protested that the problem with the monitor seems to be a simple design flaw and would be easy to repair; that I would even repair it myself except that it's under warranty (24 month). No luck. Anything I can do? And, to the person who responded to my original posting and told me that the Magnavox was o.k.: "where are you now?" Does anyone else know about this problem? It is minor, but I paid ~$500 for it and should get a working product. Other comments: Facade interferes with Remember; rename Facade so it loads after Remember and the problems disappear (this is on a cx w/6.0.3 etc. and 5 meg). Happy macing everyone! -Dave -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- David Robinowitz dr@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu CU SEAS CS MS, NYC (212) 601-1586
