The latest release is 10.3. The only place to get RR upgraded if you're in the US or Canada is to hook up with Genie. They don't ship upgrades either through dealers or the mail. I know for a FACT(heh, I did it this way) that if you contact Freesoft by phone and then send them your original disk with RR 10.x that they will mail you the latest upgrade on that very same disk. It is best to copy the original on another disk before sending away for the upgrade, just to be safe I mean. I got my copy of RR 10.3 this way. For whoever cares.... -Eric.

Hi, this is my first post so if there are any mistakes, please tell me. My first question, as you may have guessed, is about Red Ryder 10.3. In earlier versions you could map the ENTER key to ESC. I can't find that here and I would rather not shell out $ for QuickKeys if not necessary. As well, I'd prefer a single keystoke to a macro. So the question is: Can I from within Red Ryder map ENTER to ESC? My second question is not related to the Mac, but I have no idea where else to post it. When using rn, especially as a first time reader, there seem to be a lot of "Skipping Unavailable Article" and "(Article xxx exists but is unreadable)" messages -- sometimes going on ad infinitum, depending on how many fall into those categories. Is there any way to bypass those "Unreadables" and go straight to the next readable posting? Is there any special reason they're unreadable? Any answers to either question would be g-r-e-a-t-l-y appreciated. Thanks, Frank e-mail: myers@eniac.seas.upenn.edu

Does anyone know of a script or feature of RR 10.3 that would allow me to see what the current baud rate is? I'd really like to be able to see just how fast the transfer rate is. Currently all I get is an estimate of the amount of time left for the transfer. -- ------------------------------------------------------------- FidoNet: 1:161/445 UUCP: sun!apple!bmug!<User.Name> INTERNET: bmug!<User.Name>@apple.COM or <User.Name>@bmug.fidonet.org USNAIL: BMUG, 1442A Walnut St. #62, Berkeley, CA 94709-1496 ------------------------------------------------------------- BMUG Newsletter articles due June 15!
