Can any VGA-capable monitor be used on a Mac II system? The Apple video card and VGA both use analog RGB monitors at 640X480 resolutions. On another note, are there any inexpensive 8 bit video cards for the Mac which can drive any of the 13" multisync (eg NEC 3D) monitors which are capable of 1120x842 resolution? _______________________________________________________________________________ Dan Peterka S-Cubed PO Box 1620 dan@scubed.com (619) 587-8338 La Jolla, CA 92038

Dan, Any multisynchronous monitor that can sync up to a horizontal frequency of 35.000 KHz and a vertical frequency of 66.7 Hz with a resolution of 640 x 480, should be able to accept the scan rate from the Apple video card.
