Could someone post this much needed INIT so that us poor souls on the net
without ftp access can benefit?

Only if you get permission from Apple first.  I don't think they would
appreciate it being posted (and you chances of getting permission are very
low).

OK, if we can't get it posted, then could someone please tell us all:
where is it available via ftp?  What is its name on that machine?  (I ask
this because, if it is on SUMEX in the init sub-directory, its name is NOT
desktop-anything.)

Thanks, from all of us who would love to get our greedy little hands on this
thing!
