Keywords: I want to do the following: I want to customize some letters to create a masthead (or logo). For example, i want to write the word "PROJECT", and pull out the leg of the R to the right to form a sort of underline under the rest of the word. How does one do such things? I had thought I could use some paint program to write the letters as text and then edit them by adding/deleting fat bits. I tried Canvas, but could not really manage very well. Am I on the right track or is there some other way? Also, eventually i will print this on a laser printer, so the resolution has to be good. I will be grateful for suggestions. Please send email. I have used two programs to do what you are looking for. One of them is LaserTalk a PostScript language package that allows you to create graphics to a LaserWriter printer by commands. Another is FONTastic Plus this allows you to edit bitmaps and is much simpler to use than LaserTalk. LaserTalk is an Emerald City creation and FONTastic is an Altsys corporation product. Julie
