I recently discovered a command that is undocumented and (with the normal menu setup) unaccessible except through the Commands dialog. The command is "Screen Test", and it blanks the screen and then runs a varying geometrical pattern. Clicking the mouse gets you a dialog which can either change the pattern style or get you back to Word. The alleged purpose of this is to test the screen, although it seems too random to be a useful test. You could also use it as a (manually invoked) screen saver, I suppose. I think it's probably just a cute hack that was left in either by accident or as a sort of joke. If it were really meant seriously, it would have been documented in the manual.
