Can someone suggest good Macintosh games for younger kids that require little reading (or none), and are fun rather than drills in disguise? My daughter has finished Manhole, is tired of Kids Time, enjoys a chess game we have. Many of the fantasy-exploration games seem to be just lots of D&D-style battles, and I get the feeling that some of the puzzle-type games that look like fun are aimed at an adult skill level. What games, any genre, have your kids really enjoyed? For particular recommendations, it would be useful to know how much reading or other knowledge-skills (such as math, time telling, etc.) is required, how much arcade-type coordination is required, how good the interface and graphics are (too many are just direct ports of old-style ibmpc games), if it is an adult game that your kid has enjoyed with some assistance, etc., as well as what the game does. Thanks a lot for your recommendations. If there are many replies, I'll summarize. Margot Flowers Flowers@CS.UCLA.EDU ...!(uunet,rutgers,ucbvax,randvax)!cs.ucla.edu!flowers
