I've been using Calendar DA 1.4 for awhile and wanted to send in my shareware contribution. The info in the DA was: -> Calendar desk accessory. If you like it and use it, please send $5.00 to: -> -> Mosaic Codes -> Suite 2036 -> 2140 Shattuck St. -> Berkeley, Ca. 94704 -> -> Copyright ) 1986 by David Oster (oster@lapis.berkeley.edu) I emailed to the above address but only got a uucp mailer warning for my efforts. David, are you out there? Take my money, PLEASE!! (Henny Youngman? Who is Henny Youngman? ;-) BTW, is 1.4 the latest version? email appreciated - netnews if you must Goodnight David, whereever you are. -- ------------ ------------ ---------------------- Ben Liberman USENET magik@chinet.chi.il.us GEnie,Delphi MAGIK

The current version of Calendar is 2.1 The address is correct. -> Calendar desk accessory. If you like it and use it, please send $5.00 to: -> -> Mosaic Codes -> Suite 2036 -> 2140 Shattuck St. -> Berkeley, Ca. 94704 I've discovered that time pressure means I can't afford to send you the upgrade for just $5, but if you send $5.00 shareware fee + $5.00 disk update fee, I'll get the new version right out to you. As with all shareware, you can get the update anywhere you like. It includes Calendar Tools, to let you save Calendar Files as TEXT files, for searching, printing, or pruning in a text editor, and of course you can convert them back to Calendar Files. There is also a scroll bar, it is more reliable, and works better with multiple monitors and color. --- David Phillip Oster --"Unix Version 7 was an improvement not Arpa: oster@dewey.soe.berkeley.edu --only over its predeccessors, but also its Uucp: {uwvax,decvax}!ucbvax!oster%dewey.soe.berkeley.edu --successors."

David, The latest version of your excellent Calendar DA I've seen come over the net is 1.7. I'm not a user of Calendar (at least not of 1.7) because it won't do what you've upgraded 2.1 to do: Save files as text for later massaging. Would you post version 2.1 to comp.binaries.mac? I (and I'm not alone, I'm sure) would like to have a look at it! Thanks... Steve Bruun att!ihlpy!sebruun
