Because I've been getting so much mail about it, I thought I should post a brief message indicating that the posting of the software for my 3D multiplayer maze game will be delayed a bit. I ran into some very weird errors over the weekend that I finally managed to work around (I suspect it was due to a MPW compiler bug, cause the "fix" shouldn't have made any difference, but did!) I'm going to try and get it all together for a posting later this week, but we've been having some nasty weather here that frequently stops me from working. Finally, just to make it CLEAR. YES...you must be online on GEnie to play the game in multiplayer mode. NO....it does not work over appletalk YES...the game itself may be distributed freely, NO shareware fees. YES...I do make some royalties when the game is played on GEnie I THOUGHT I had made these items clear in my early posting, that's why I asked in my first message if people still wanted me to post it, even though it was a commercial application. I got a lot of interested mail from people...so I will post the software... Look at it this way...you won't get banged on for shareware fees all the time with this game...the income I do get will take the place of any shareware and help cover the (considerable) time spent in developing the Mac front-end and GEnie mainframe Back-end software.
