In the past, I've incorporated Adobe Illustrator drawings into MSW 3.0x by using Option-copy on the drawings into the clipboard, and then pasting them into the document. I tried to do it with MSW 4.0, and got horrid results: each drawing expanded to 8 x 10 inches and overwrote the text. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? I'm running under system 6.03 (and no multifinder). ...pat. anderson tech. doc. specialist Alias Research Inc.

I've tried option-copying Illustrator '88 1.8.3 drawings to the clipboard and then pasting them into Word 4.0 documents with and without Multifinder turned on, and I don't have any problems with the procedure in either case. The drawing comes into the Word document at the size it was defined to be in the Illustrator document, text wraps properly around the graphic, and I can resize it (proportionally, which is nice!) after it's in the Word document. -- Thom Brando (617) 271-3947 The MITRE Corporation, m/s A129 brando@mitre.org Burlington Road, Bedford, MA 01730 ...!linus!brando
