Please forgive if this has been discussed recently - I'm away from my home system until September, and the long distance charges keep me from seeing everything here before it migrates off. A friend at another educational institution says he has heard rumors that if one complains loudly enough about the LQ printer, that apple will make a nice offer involving trading the LQ for one of the Laserprinters (and would also require some cash, I would think). However, he has not been able to verify this, and the dealer professes ignorance (so what else is new?). Can anyone pass along any info on this? Please respond via E_mail so I won't lose the message 'till I next sign on. (and also post if of general interest).
