I have questions about various color problems: One application I run consistently changes the background color of my menus to gray. Also, sometime around when I first ran it, the icons for Kolor and Colors cdevs when displayed in the control panel lost their color and are now in black and white. Also, occasionally with these two cdevs, I'll change a color to something, but when I leave the color picker and get back to the main window of the cdev, the setting will be lost (sometimes I'll see it for a fraction of a second before it gets rewritten). Using General and others, I've attempted to change my desktop background pattern to something besides gray, but it won't change. Obviously somehow these various settings are getting overwritten. Does anyone know how to prevent this? Also, how can I get the colors back into my control panel icons? How can I get my desktop to change to something besides gray?
