I think I may have stumbled onto a bug in MacDraw II. It is "relatively" harmless, but really annoying. Periodically I have lines disappearing on the screen. A description follows these questions. * If it is a bug, does Claris know about it? * If it is a bug, is there a fix? * If its not a bug, what am I doing wrong? I haven't had time to isolate it (I may try that later this week), but here is a brief description: ------------------------------------------------------------- system: Macintosh SE/30, 2 Meg RAM, 40 Meg HD I have added no extra Inits software: MacDraw II ver 1.1 (Academic package) (I just mailed in my registration card today, so it won't be on file until the end of the week; however, if someone from Claris wants it, I will e-mail it to them.) In one layer I have a line in 0.25 point. ************************************* <- line In a layer above this, I add a solid rectangle XXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXX ***********XXXXXXXXXXXXX************* <- line XXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXX If I later select this box and move it, the line disappears (on the screen). If I reduce the scale by 1/2 and then bring it back to 100%, the line reappears. Scrolling it off the screen and back onto the screen also brings the line back to the screen. It is very annoying to have parts of your image disappear. -------------- Todd Heberlein heberlei@iris.ucdavis.edu 128.120.57.20
