I just got my hands on a pre-release anouncement of HP's Macintosh
compatible DeskWriter. Its called the "HP2278 DeskWriter Printer", with
a list price of $1195 (the bookstore here says $775 edudiscount).
They expect to have a demo0 in about 2-3 weeks, and if it like anything else
that HP puts out, it should be good. The first set of optional fonts ( Avant G,
Bookman, NC Schoolbook, N Helvetica Nar, Palatino, Zapf Chanc and Dingbats), is
listed for $395, and other additional single fonts are $95.
Thats all the info I got. If anyone has any additionalo info, Please post it.
