In response to your complaints about the Sun Write/Paint/Draw -- did you ever see the initial Mac Write/Paint/Draw? Sun's first attempts are definitly superior to what Apple was releasing with their systems. My comments are my own, not necessarily those of my employers.

When Apple introduced MacPaint and MacDraw there was absolutely ZERO competition. Now the market is much different, the standards have been raised and nobody wants to go back to original MacPaint/Draw.
