[comp.sys.mac] grep

	Manx Software offers a product called UniTools (MacConnection $65)
	which is a UNIX type shell for their C development system. I am 
	mainly interested in the grep like utility which comes with the 
	program but am concerned about its compatibility with other programs.
	I would like to search files including non-text files created by 
	word processors including WriteNow.
	
	I called Manx but the operator just gave me the standard copy and
	did not seem too receptive to other questions. So does anyone out
	there know of a good grep like utility for the Mac.
	
	I'm currently using Locate which is somewhat buggy on my system. 
	At this point I'm considering Gofer and UniTools but am definitely
	open to suggestions.
