Why am I selling my B-flat Clarinet, a wooden Evette (Buffet)
Master Model in excellent condition with a Vandoren mouthpiece,
for $225? Because I don't like to play clarinet. By the way,
the clarinet is in excellent condition (of course, it didn't
get much use).

Whaddya mean you don't like to play clarinet???!!!! What are you, a percussionist or something?? The clarinet is a gorgeous instrument to play and to listen to-- just ask my colleagues! Now get back in that practice room and play that sucker! -Offended clarinetist

I guess to those of you clarinetists who enjoy dueling with a cylindrical
piece of African blackwood, my comment ("I don't like to play...") could
be a bit offensive. Sorry. Personally, I find the flute and sax families
much more responsive and musical. I've played various saxes, flutes, and
even the clarinet professionally and for my own enjoyment for the better
part of eleven years, so I think I've given it a fair chance (I began
studying sixteen years ago).
