I can't understand why you folks are polluting info-apple, which is about the Apple 2 series of machine, use comp.sys.mac if you want to talk about the Macintosh in comparison with other machines. -- - Ralph W. The source code for HP-UX is available and easily orderable from HP. The problem tht most of you will find when trying to get ahold of it is that the SOURCE CODE LISCENSE, which AT&T requires you to buy before we can give you source code, costs approx $50,000. HP cannot give you even the source for 'cat' without selling you the liscense -- it's part of the liscensing agreement with AT&T. If you have a gripe about not being able to get pieces of the source code for a reasonable price, gripe at AT&T. Dave Waller Hewlett-Packard Co.
