The following questions are posted for my friend who is interested in [Super] Studio Session 2.0. Thanks. ******************************* Does anyone out there know what is the difference between Studio Session 2.0 & Super Studio Session 2.0? One of my friends says that Super Studio Session 2.0 can not print out the composition. Is that true? BTW, can the files created by either SS 2.0 or SSS 2.0 be shared, accessed by the other? Thanks in advance for taking time to respond to this post! From my limited experience with Super Studio Session 2.0 I have found the following: It has 8 independent voices instead of 6! However this seems to take more of the CPU time which makes it very sensitive to mouse movements on a MAC+/SE. Moving the mouse causes the song to mess up (It makes scratchy sounds). It uses a single program to edit and play music instead of seperate programs. It doesn't seem to have a printing option!!! No mention of this disappearing feature in the documentation. It is missing the tape player but has the "dancing notes" animation in the new JukeBox mode. This mode allows you to have it play several songs in a row without user intervention. However, it doesn't allow you to control the volume or speed of the song which was always fun with the tape player. The speed of the song can be changed in the editor though. I don't know how the music editing compares. You can play Studio Session (6 voice) songs in Super SS, but since Super SS has 8 voices I wouldn't think that it would be backward compatible, although I didn't try. With Super SS you get 8 voice versions of some of the songs that came with SS. I didn't compare the programs side by side so I've probably missed some points. Overall Super Studio Session is better but isn't a superset of Studio Session's features. The biggest missing feature is the printing option. Steven Miller Vancouver "USA" Division Hewlett Packard
