I have been told several times that there is a way to make the Apple Video card (on the MAC II) output NTSC video (ie: suitable for a TV or VCR with video input). I found an FKEY that was supposed to do this, but either it is damaged, or it will not work with the current system. Does anyone out there know anything about this? Could you forward the information to me? Thanks, Chris Cox cc4b+@andrew.cmu.edu ps. please reply to this account instead of the bboard, reading several hundred posts per day by modem is tedious if not impossible.

Sorry, I don't know how to reply directly to your account. I don't think this board echo's private mail. Macintosh News Monday, June 19/89 pg 13 bottom left. "Apple's Video Freebee" At the spring worldwide developers conference, Apple formally confirmed what many colour video graphics card designers already knew for more than two years: that Apple's 8 bit 640 by 480 colour card can be modified to produce NTSC colour video as well as the RGB video it delivers to the Mac." Apparently Apple distributed a disk that contained details of cable and board modifications needed to make NTSC output possible. <<BB>> --- * Via ProDoor 3.0R
