I have recently received the TeXtures package for my IIcx and I am
experiencing a problem when using PostScript fonts. I am no fan of computer
modern fonts and usually use Helvetica or Times-Roman instead. To my horror
TeXtures cannot provide accents (e.g., \', \", \i etc) when using these
fonts; it reports:-
No such Character ^^S in font Helvetica!
when the accent is found (the ^^S varies, depending on the offending accent)
and omits it. Thus na\"{\i}e is printed: nave. It appears as nave is the
PostScript output also. Have I missed something really obvious or are
PostScript fonts a no-go area in TeXtures (in which case why provide them?).
Cheers,
Jan.
