[comp.sys.mac] PostScript Conversions

I have a little problem printing Mac files on a LPS40 laser printer.

What I've been doing is creating the file using Microsoft Word, or
MacPaint, or Microsoft Works. I've gotten the program to produce
PostScript files both with the laserPrep prolog, and without it. I've
uploaded the files to a VAX 8650 mainframe, and they've arrived fine.
The problem is that the prolog from LaserPrep doesn't work. It uses
PostScript cpmmands that the LPS40 can't understand (i.e. waittimeout).

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem before, and has
found a solution to it, short of rewriting the PostScript for each
uploaded file. I don't really know enough PostScript to rewrite the
prolog myself. If anyone has any solutions, please send them to me at
one of the addresses below. Thanx a lot.
