We have a Sun/Interleaf DTP shop in house and I'd like to save the tech illustrators some work for a proposal being prepared using Interleaf. I have some drawings done with MacPaint and MacDraw that need to be included in the report. One of the Interleaf users mentioned that they had a filter that could process files saved from MacDraw and MacPaint. Well, I saved some files, uploaded them as binary files (I used the Macbinary format when uploading with Versaterm's Xmodem), but the Interleaf guys reported that all attempts to process the files met with failure (this was reported second hand as the Interleaf is hands-off to the techies like me). So my questions are: 1) Anyone manage to grab and use Mac files of any sort with Sun Interleaf? 2) Was Macbinary the culprit -- should I have uploaded them as straight binary files? 3) Can Sun/Interleaf deal with postscript files? The local interleaf user I spoke with said no. He did mention that other people had prepared files in HGPL format and that these could be imported into Interleaf -- Any idea what this format is? Any advice on using Sun/Interleaf in conjunction with illustrations being done on a Mac will be appreciated. E'mail preferred.
