Does anybody know of a program for the Mac that will decompress files compressed in the IBM .ZIP format? On a couple of the BBS' I frequent, people are kind enough to upload incredibly useful text files in a format that restricts their use to people with PCs; I'd really like to have access to this information. Thanks. -- Ralph Brandi [most gateways in the known universe]!att!lzfme!ralph Work flows toward the competent until they are submerged.

Thanks. I don't have a program, but if anyone wants to write one, I have the code in C to do it, which I will send to anyone interested. Why don't I write it? I've discovered the great outdoors, and the little fresh air that is actually left after we've mutilated it. PCBOARD based BBS' have a repack feature in proDOOR, which allows you to extract files from one archive and "repack" them in another (or the same). I've talked with the guy who wrote proDOOR, and he soon will be adding a SIT view module. (I sent him the code last week) David.. --- FD 2.00 * Origin: Synaptic Communications (1:250/428)
