32 macs on serial wire, looking for a decent net to hire. 19.2K Baud with 8 K byte through On Sytek nets the data flew Six hundred Students rarin to go hand in their assignments to Unix ya know * * * In semesters previous the process complex did hinder the neophytes and cause them much vex Create Stuffit archive instructions did say What is an archive they responded that day Convert it to binhex was the second command Why not send binary? was the obvious demand. Upload using kermit was step number three The students were angry and rightfully mail TA < file was the final edict The majority forgot; got the verdict? * * * "We want FINDER COPY!" the TAs did say Just point click and move the macintosh way A brand new volume mounted from the net will look like a disk without any fret Poor Appleshare just can't get us there It has no serial, just 'talk and etherial TOPS is a loser; it flops like a bruiser has no serial way to do what we say But what about JANET we ask with a plea? Will it answer our prayers and fill us with glee? Is uSHARE better? Will it do what we need? Or should we give up, let the nets recede? I need your advice; I need it rapidly Please answer my questions; I'll post a summary I don't read this group I'm sorry to say so please send E-mail in the usual way. I'd like to buy the software, buy it this week Please send a reply; it's e-mail I seek. -- -Mitchell F.
