Does anyone know how to get Wordstar format files on IBM disks using a Macintosh? I want to recomend to a friend to buy a Mac, but her publisher requires 5.25" IBM disks in Wordstar (or WordPerfect) format. Sigh. I know that I can transfer files using the Apple File Exchange, and the Apple official IBM drive, but is there an AFE template for any Mac word processor format to Wordstar/Wordperfect files? Thanks for ANY help or leads someone can provide... Bjorn N. Freeman-Benson

Probably the best set of translators I have worked with are
the MacLink Plus/Translators. These include translators from either MS-Word
or MacWrite to both WordStar and PC WordPerfect. These translators are
available from DataViz, Inc. in Trumbull, Connecticut.

Bjorn Freeman-Benson <bnfb@Apple.COM> asks: is there an AFE template for any Mac word processor format to Wordstar/Wordperfect files? Um ... what about just using WordPerfect on the Mac? It lets you save to DOS format (and does a better job than Word -> DOS/Word ... in particular, has anyone gotten Mac Word to read DOS Word outline format, or the other way around?). /jordan
