I've developped a reporting system on 4th dimenion package. Everything worked fine but now there is a problem that I can not even explain: When I do a search with the standard search editor ( the one that is used when you write SEARCH in program code) there are cases that I can't find the information I'm looking for even though I know that it exists. This does not happen if I use contains rule in search editor, only when I use equal rule. for example: I make a search like this in the search editor: city is equal to espoo This result about 15 matching records, but if I search city contains espoo I get about 25 matching records. All the records of city espoo are equal, there is no blank spaces etc. This does not happen with all search key, actually some douple characters are the only cases it happens. Like "oo" and some others.
