We have a strange folder that everyone (ResEdit, Fedit, SCSITools, the Finder), thinks is empty. However, we can't toss the folder because it either contains a non-empty folder, or an item in use. We also cannot place a system file into the folder because there is already a file by that name. The folder was originally the machine's System Folder until it became corrupt during the installation of a Shiva network. We want to toss the folder and contents, but first we would like to recover some installed fonts and DAs. Any ideas as to 1) what caused this, 2)how we can see what is really in the folder, and 3) how we can salvage some of this mess?? Thanks very much in advance. Dan Lulue lulue@nosc.mil
