[comp.sys.mac] archives?

I have seen several posting that referred to files being archived
somewhere.  For example, /info-mac/sound/foghorn-leghorn-various.hqx was
mentioned.  Is this archive somewhere out there, or does it have to be
picked up at each site?  

I would appreciate any help.

Could someone please post the latest listing of available
archives for use by FTP?

I will be closing this account shortly, but have access to ftp through
another account.  

If anyone knows of a way I can access USENET through ftp, please let
me know.
