Well, some people have asked me to summarize the responses I received about UniMAC external hard drives. If one word could be used to summarize the responses it would be... positive. Apparently no one has had any problems whatsoever, although I'm sure there have been some. In fact, the only complaint I received was that as soon as one guy ordered his, they lowered the price. Things like that happen to me all the time. The place to contact if you want to buy one of these drives is Hard Drives International at 1-800-234-DISK. In a recent PC Magazine (or was it Personal Computing?) Hard Drives International was rated as the best source to buy your hard drives from. Again the description of the UniMAC drive is as follows: it is a zero-footprint external drive (there are internal, too) that uses Seagate on 20 and 30 megs, and Miniscribe on 45 megs. The company offers a 30-day money back deal and a one year warranty.. Prices are, as I remember, 379 for 20 meg, 439 for 30 meg, and 499 for 45 meg. They go way beyond 45 megs, but that's all I asked for. Call for internal prices. James
