I am looking to find out if there are any freware or shareware
(or reasonably priced commercial) packages to do the following two
(separate) things:
1) Counted Cross Stitch. My wife does this sort of needlework and would like to
record the patterns on the MAC. Something with color support would be nice, but
almost anything would be helpful.
If there is no such thing, I will have to write it myself. If someone has
begun one, I would like to work with them to enhance it.
2) Amatuer CAD/ / Architecture. This would be used for things like laying out
furniture, or playing with "ideal" house designs, or other things where some
measurement and scaling is useful, so MacDraw type tools are insufficient.
If this doesn't exist, I'll do with out, as I am sure it would be quite
complicated to do a reasonable job writing my own.
